I thought about painting a scene that could be a magical place of refuge and rest, after hiking and being exposed to the desert sun. In the background, I added a red mountain with reddish soil, typical of the southwestern area of the US; there is also a juniper tree, a couple of Joshua trees. In the foreground I added some pampas grass and slate stepping stones. In the center, there is a jar of pure, revitalizing water, with two glasses on a table, with two chairs, under the shade of this covered terrace. This is a place where you can rest, meditate, pray, and rejuvenate!
