Piney Point Lighthouse and Keeper's Quarters, viewed from the the water on the Potomac River. On the background you see the rooftop of the Maritime Museum, which is part of the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum & Historic Park, in St Mary’s County, Maryland, USA. This is one of my favorite places to visit, due to its scenic beauty, history, and the delightful sounds of the water flowing on the beach!
 
This painting was on exhibit at the Old Jail Museum and Visitor Center for the Leonardtown Art Walk, in September 2021. It has received a Third Place Award by popular vote!
